SWE-DISH SOLUTION

satellite_for_broadcast SWE-DISH is a world-leading supplier of mobile satellite communications equipment for broadband applications.
Among its customers there are count major broadcasters, large armed forces, several government organizations, disaster relief organizations, as well as many other users. They all have in common the need for compact and quick-to-air satellite terminals for wide band communications. That’s why the company has been focused on mobile satellite communication for more than 10 years.
Close cooperation with customers, and in-house development, has made SWE-DISH product range second to none, and the company has pioneered the small portable satellite terminal segment with the proven suitcase sized IPT Suitcase. SWE-DISH is a global company with offices or sales partners in most regions of the world.

BROADCAST SOLUTION
Broadcasters typically use the SWE-DISH equipment to cover live news and sporting events.
Customers include the largest international broadcasting companies in the world, e.g. BBC, ABC and CNN, as well as many national and regional TV-stations.
Broadcasters have high demands on the satellite equipment they use. News doesn’t wait for a lengthy deployment and doesn’t always occur in easy to access locations. If something fails, thousands of viewers will watch their screens go black. The equipment is used day after day and rough handling is the norm. The trend towards smaller news teams puts additional requirements on the equipment, such as ease-of-use, low weight and few boxes.
All the SWE-DISH systems are designed to be easy to use. The unique Gregorian offset antenna design makes the systems compact and stable. Set-up requires no tools. Also, several systems have inbuilt GPS and compass to aid in finding the satellite.

Broadcasters can choose from an extensive range of equipment based on the proven and innovative Suitcase, Fly-Away and Drive-Away systems.
